This policy explains how the International Scaffolding Institute (ISI) handles personal data when you use our website, verification services, training records, membership and centre accreditation.
When someone checks a certificate number, we show only what is needed to confirm it: the holder's name, photo, course, level and validity. Membership details appear in the public registry only where you chose a public listing, and you can withdraw this at any time from your dashboard.
We share data only with the authorised centre that trained or assessed you, with service providers who host and support our systems under contract, and with authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data or share it for third-party marketing.
Certification records are kept for as long as a certificate can be verified, and for a reasonable period afterwards to deal with queries and fraud. Application documents are kept for the life of the membership or accreditation and then deleted or anonymised.
Access to records is limited to staff and centres who need it. Uploaded documents are stored in restricted storage and are not published.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to some uses, by emailing [email protected]. We may need to keep certification records where we have a legal or verification reason to do so.
